Gradually adding in these things is the key for me because they bring with them added carbs and this seems to increase my desire for more food. It’s a journey 🥴

Healthy aging was the main reason I switched to a vegan diet, followed by animals suffering and meat eating's impact on the environment. One of my writer friends on Medium, who is a vegan, suggested I watch the video documentary Forks Over Knives. Someone else recommended the video, Dairy is Scary. I couldn't watch that one to the end, those poor cows. And after watching several more videos and reading my friends Medium stories, I was hooked. I only wish I had proceeded slowly as you recommend. I went at it whole hog (excuse the inappropriate metaphor). My bowel habits exploded, literally! I took several months for things to settle down.

Hope you don't mind this question, but what do you do about gas? That's my biggest problem these days. I've tried a digestive enzyme but they don't do much.
